Once the procedure is over, the sedation will take time to wear off, so you should arrange or a friend or family member to bring you home.
Extraction and Recovery
After we administer the sedation, we will open the jaw where the teeth reside and then remove them gently with forceps. Next, we suture the area closed. Detailed aftercare instructions will help ensure a healing process without complication, offering tips on what and what not to eat and drink, and how to brush and floss in the hours and days following the procedure. Of course, we will also schedule a follow-up visit to remove the sutures and monitor the healing process.
