Once again, the weekend is upon us, so we would love to talk about events taking place this month in Kansas City, MO. From the exciting and unique, to the just plain weird, there is plenty for families and friends to do and see in the city. In addition, remember that cosmetic treatment can brighten teeth and transform smiles before you attend your next big event!

Upcoming Community Events

  1. US Gymnastics Championships: The US Gymnastics Championships 2019 will take place from now through August 11th at the Sprint Center Downtown. Returning to the area for the first time since 1987, the four-day championship will include some of the country’s best gymnasts competing for the national titles! See incredible athletes at the top of their game.
  2. Hot Dog Festival: The Heart of America Hot Dog Festival will take place on August 10th from 2pm until 11pm at 18th and Vine Neighborhood, Downtown. Hosted by The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the festival will feature live music, food, drinks, and more, with proceeds going to support  Museum. A great event for the whole family to enjoy, while also supporting a great cause!
  3. Ancient Mysteries and Modern Discoveries: You can enjoy the Ancient Mysteries and Modern Discoveries exhibit with your friends and family from now through September 29th at Union Station. The exhibit features information about an ancient site in the south of England that dates back 5,000 years. A unique way to spend your day!
  4. Ethnic Enrichment Festival: Celebrate the different ethnic foods, music, and dances, that make up America, with over 60 different cultures taking part. The festival takes place daily from August 16th through the 18th at Swope Park on 6600 Swope Parkway. The festival is open from 6pm until 10pm on Friday, 11am until 10pm on Saturdays, and 11am until 6pm on Sunday. Enjoy this incredible event and learn about new cultures with your friends and family!
