This week, Kansas City is celebrating Earth Week to lead up to Earth Day. There are fun activities for the whole family to enjoy and focus on our green earth. This weekend also includes lots of other fun things to do. More Fun Stuff

1. All this week, April 15-22, Paradise Park’s Discovery Play center theme of the week: Celebrate Our Earth! includes specially designed, safe, clean, interactive, fun, imaginative and educational play centers. There are over 20 unique areas, including Pretend Village, Water Table, KCPT Learning Room, Miniature Play, Block Play, Art Studio, Cooking Studio, and a 2-acre Children’s Garden with a dinosaur dig, a pretend fishing pond, and 18-hole junion mini golf course. There will also be themed activities at scheduled times throughout every day.
2. The H&R Block City Stage is hosting a lively, musical version of the beloved folktale, Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In this fun version, Baby Bear learns how to sing, dance and act from his new human friend and together they bring peace to their feuding families with music and dance. Showtimes are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 10 am through May 12th.
3. Whirlwind: Art In Motion opens on April 21st. Participating artist Lin Emery brings kinetic sculpture to the views of guests.
