Post-Thanksgiving KC Events
Can you believe that 2018 has moved by this quickly? Thanksgiving is this week, which means most of the holiday events begin this weekend. Kansas City, MO is a beautiful place to be during the winter holidays. Between the tree lightings and the special live shows and the shopping, there is something to do for everybody. Remember that this time of the year also means that there is a limited amount of time to use your dental insurance benefits before the new year begins. If you have not gotten both of your dental exams and cleanings this year, you will want to do that soon.
Events This Week
- The Kansas City Repertory Theater is putting on a production of Charles Dickens’ Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol. There are multiple chances to see this show featuring Ebeneezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas past.

There will be a horse-drawn wagon ride, a campfire with cider, and more. Admission must be purchased in advance.
- This weekend kicks off Winter Fest at Worlds of Fun! The amusement park is transformed with lights and music into a land of holiday wonder.
