Our Investment in Technology

The most important part of dentistry is care and compassion, but advances in technology allow us to offer stellar care. We have invested in technology that makes caring for you quicker, more convenient, and more comfortable than ever before. Technology allows us to improve on preventative care with advanced abilities to scan and x-ray your mouth. Superior technology gives us the ability to catch potential issues early enough for treatment. Laser technology allows for a more comfortable and precise way to clean your teeth and gums to treat and prevent gum disease. Treatment options can take less time out of your busy schedule because of our technological investments.

A Crown in One Visit

With CEREC (Chairside Economic Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) technology, a crown can be created in a single visit. Before this technology, a mold of your tooth would have been sent out to an off-site lab. This process often took at least one to two weeks. CEREC allows for the crown to be sculpted in the office with the aid of a computer. Instead of waiting weeks for the protection of a crown, you can get one fitted in one visit.

Advanced Detection and Scanning

Digital x-rays and intraoral cameras allow for more comprehensive exams. Digital x-rays emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional radiology. Digital x-rays also allow for a high-definition image to become instantly available for your dentist and you to see. Intraoral cameras fit comfortably in your mouth to allow for your dentist to see real-time images of your mouth. This allows for problematic issues that may be hidden during a normal exam to be found. i-CAT Cone Beam CT scans are not often used in prevention. But because they create highly detailed images of your mouth and teeth, the scans are very useful in creating advanced treatment plans.
