Fall Events Taking Place in the Kansas City Community

Have you made any plans with your friends or family this weekend? If not, we can help in today’s blog. We’re going to look at a few upcoming community events in the Kansas City, MO, area. Don’t forget, we can make sure your smile is healthier and more attractive before you attend one of these upcoming events!

Community Events

  1. Plaza Art Fair: The Plaza Art Fair will take place at the Country Club Plaza from today through September 22nd. This will be the fair’s 88th year, and you can see works from artists from around the country. A great event for the while family to enjoy, and an excellent way to take in local art from members of the community.
  2. Humboldt Penguin March: The Kansas City Zoo will be hosting the Humboldt Penguin March on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd from 11am until 11:15am. The penguins will be marching around Helzberg Penguin Plaza, and you and your family can watch them strut and enjoy the outdoor weather. This event takes place on the fourth weekend of every month!
  3. Pickleball Festival: The Hy-Vee Arena will be hosting the 3rd Annual Pickleball Festival on Friday September 20th. The arena is located at 1800 Genessee Street. You can see games, attend booths and events, listen to live music, and more. A great family-friendly event!
  4. Expecto Bar Crawl: KC Live will be hosting the Expecto Bar Crawl on Saturday, September 21st from 3pm until 9pm. Admission is $28 and you’re encouraged to wear your favorite wizard attire and bring your wands! There will be games, gifts, booze, and more! Participating bars include McFadden’s Pizza Bar, Hotel Karaoke KC, Guy’s Dive and Taco Joint, and Leinie Lodge and Beer Garden. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter and fantasy in general, this event is for you!
