What’s Happening in Kansas City This Weekend?

In today’s blog, we would like to talk about the community and cover four fun events happening this weekend! Community Events

  1. KC Beer Fest 2019: Enjoy over 200 hand-picked beers from craft breweries from around the world at KC Beer Fest 2019! There will also be food trucks, live music, and other events. The festival takes place at the Kansas City Power and Light District on 50 East 13th Street, suite 200. The event lasts from 2pm until 6pm on Saturday, September 14th. The event is for people 21 and up, and admission is $45 to $70.
  2. Fiesta Hispana: Fiesta Hispana is free and the event takes place from today through September 15th at Barney Allis Plaza on 301 West 13th Street, suite 100. You and your family can enjoy educational events and talks, and visit vendors selling imported and local jewelry, art, and clothes. There will also be games and activities for the while family to enjoy!
  3. The Dinner Detective: Enjoy an interactive murder mystery with The Dinner Detective at Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown on 1301 Wyandotte Street on Saturday, September 14th from 6pm until 9pm. There will be a delicious dinner, and you will help solve a mystery!
  4. Railroad Train Rides: You and your family can enjoy a ride on the KC Northern Railroad, located at 5940 Northwest Waukomis Drive. This miniature railroad runs from 10am until 6pm on Saturday, and noon until 6pm on Sundays and holidays. September is the last month to enjoy a ride before their season ends until May!
