As always, there are a ton of fun and exciting events happening in Kansas City, MO, this weekend, from festivals to live music and more! We’re going to cover four of these events in today’s blog, and we welcome residents to call us if they would like to start attending these shows and festivals with brighter smiles.
- Grilled Cheese Festival: The Kansas City Grilled Cheese Festival will take place on Saturday, October 5th from noon until 4pm at Ilus Davis Park on 1000 Locust Street. Enjoy an array of different takes on this classic food from a variety of local restaurants and food trucks. The event is open to people of all ages, and there will be games, live music, activities, and more!
- Oktoberfest: The Kansas City Oktoberfest will take place at Crown Center on Urban Plaza on Friday, October 4th from 8pm until 11pm and on Saturday, October 5th from 7:30pm until 11pm. The area’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration, there will a variety of German beers, food vendors, live music, shopping arts and crafts, games, and a kids activities as well!
- Harvest Festival: The Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, October 5th at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum on 7000 Northeast Barry Road from 10am until 4pm. You and your family can enjoy puppet shows, 19th century reenactors, live music and demonstration, face painting, kettle corn, and more! You can also pick up a pumpkin from the patch, and enjoy delicious concessions.
- Middle of the Map Fest: The Middle of the Map Music Festival will take place on from Friday, October 4th at 2pm until Saturday, October 5th at 11pm. Admission is $39.50 and a VIP pass is $75. The shows will take place at the Crossroads Art District and artists, including Snail Mail, Hello Yello, Beabadoobee, Clairo, and many more!
