Brighter Smiles With Professional Teeth Whitening

Let’s take a look at our professional teeth whitening options. The in-office option we discussed above provides a noticeably brighter smile in as little as one to two hours, a perfect choice if you need fast results before a sudden event or meeting. We start by placing a protective covering over the lips and gums, and then applying a bleaching gel to the teeth. A light is then used to activate the bleaching gel and begin breaking up stains, providing amazing results in one sitting.

Our home-based option begins with an initial office visits so we can take detailed impressions of your teeth, which we use to create a set of custom-made plastic trays. We then send these trays home with you, along with a powerful bleaching gel. At home, the trays will be filled with gel and worn for about 30 to 45 minutes. The trays help ensure the gel is spread across your teeth evenly. The total treatment time depends on the cause and extent of your discoloration, but could take as little as one week to ten days. For some, teeth could be several shades brighter.

Tips to Keep Stains at Bay

What can you do to help avoid the onset of stains in the future? Well, to keep your teeth brighter, we suggest taking time each day to brush your teeth for two minutes, once when you wake up and again before bed. You also need to floss every night before bed too. These actions help reduce the severity of discoloration by reducing plaque buildup. We also suggest cutting back on drinks with dark pigments, sugary foods and drinks, and attending your routine checkups and cleanings.
