Custom At-Home Whitening
With our at-home teeth whitening system, we can use custom trays and a bleaching gel to help our Kansas City, MO, patients obtain significantly brighter smiles in as little as one to two weeks. In today’s blog, we’re looking at how our home-based system works, and we’re also going to talk about our in-office teeth whitening special!
Our Home-Based Solution
The first step is to see our team. We will take a close look at your discoloration to assess the cause and severity. If you benefit from our home-based option, which is often great for minor and more severe cases, we will take detailed impressions of your smile, using them to create a custom set of plastic trays. You will take home these trays, along with a powerful bleaching gel. At home, the trays will be filled with gel and worn for about 30 to 45 minutes per day. The trays help spread the gel evenly. After one to two weeks, your smile could be brightened by several shades! The trays and any leftover gel can be kept for touch-ups down the road.
Keeping Your Smile Bright
To maintain your new results, you need to cut back on sugary foods and drinks, as sugars and starches feed harmful bacteria, leading to plaque buildup and more visible discoloration. In addition, be sure to cut back on drinks with dark pigments that could stain teeth, such as coffee, tea, red wine, and soda. Make time to brush and floss daily, which helps remove stray food particles and controls plaque buildup. Be sure to see us every six months as well, so we can clean your teeth to remove all plaque and brighten your smile. If you smoke, quit and try to avoid all tobacco products, which could stain teeth as well.
Consider Our In-Office Special
Remember, we also have an in-office procedure that could brighten smiles in as little as one to two hours! If you schedule a visit during the month of January (which only has a few days left, so hurry!) then you could obtain our in-office system, a $199 value, for just $99! Exclusions apply, so be sure to contact our office for more information. If you have questions about your discoloration, or about improving your overall oral health, then please contact our team today to schedule your next consultation. We would love to help you make big changes for your smile in 2020!
