Mother’s Day in Kansas City

1. The Art of the Brick is offering free admission for moms on Sunday, May 13th. Moms get free admission with the purchase of any full price child or adult admission. The hours on Sunday are 12-5pm. The exhibition at Union Station Kansas City is the first-ever art exhibition focused exclusively on the use of LEGO bricks as an art medium. There are over 100 interesting, beautiful creations to see.
2. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is hosting aMother’s Day brunch in the Rozzelle Court Restaurant. Celebrate the special women in your life with a beautiful buffet amidst strolling violin music in the beauty of Rozzelle Court. After brunch, explore exhibits from around the world throughout the museum.
3. For moms with adult children or for moms that want to hangout with the kids, Tiffany Haddish is scheduled to perform live in Kansas City for her She Ready Tour. Tiffany Haddish is a stand-up comedian and movie star from the movie Girls Trip. The show will be at Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland on May 12, 2018.
