Dear Patients,

Friday, August 7, 2020

At Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry of Kansas City, our main goal has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team, and our community. Our office reopened for all non-emergent patient care on Monday, May 18, 2020.

Here is some important information you should know regarding the protocols our office is using to ensure the safety of our patients and team:

  • Do not bring anyone with you to an appointment unless absolutely necessary (translator, parent/legal guardian, caregiver).
  • Upon entering the building, a mask will be given to you to wear. (Even if you come with a cloth mask, a medical-grade mask will be provided for you to wear instead or over your cloth mask.)
  • A scanner will check your temperature. If it is above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be asked to reschedule and leave.
  • You will be asked to sanitize your hands with hand sanitizer provided.
  • Someone will verify your appointment and give you a name tag sticker with the name of the office your appointment is in.

Once you have made it to our office on the third floor:

  • Your temperature will be taken again with a temperature scanner. If it is above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be asked to reschedule and leave.
  • You will be asked to sign our COVID-19 Patient Assessment form
  • Our waiting room has a decreased number of seats available for patients, and we are scheduling to help allow for proper social distancing.
  • Once you are seated in your treatment room, you will able to completely remove your mask.
  • You will be asked to wash your hands and swish with a Hydrogen Peroxide solution for 60 seconds.
  • Additional suction will likely be used throughout the appointment to help reduce aerosols.
  • Our team is wearing gowns that are laundered after each patient, as well as face shields with our N-95 and level 3 masks.
  • We have a UV air purifying system installed to help decontaminate the air.
  • At the conclusion of the appointment, you will be asked to place your mask back on until you have returned to your vehicle.
  • Please let us know if you have any questions prior to or during your appointment. We are here to help you!

Our online practice portal is always open. You can log in to look up appointments, pay your bill, and access our office forms and documents.
