Holiday Events
- Do you want to watch the Christmas classic, Polar Express, while wearing your pajamas? Watch the movie on Union Station’s giant 5-story Extreme Screen for just $3 per ticket. The movie is shown daily at 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 5:30pm, 8:00pm with additional showtimes of 10am on Saturdays and Sundays. Advanced ticket purchases are highly encouraged as the movie does tend to sell-out.
- Also at Union Station is The KCS Holiday Express, which is a festive, six-car train. The train that brings Santa Claus and his elves across the country via train. Guests get to visit with Santa and walk through all of the wonderfully decorated train cars. The event is totally free and no tickets are required. The KCS Holiday Express will be at Union Station from December 14th through December 18th.
- This weekend, enjoy a Winter Wonderland at the Kansas City Zoo! There will be a penguin march before Santa dives underwater to deliver presents to the animals themselves. Mrs. Claus will decorate the lion exhibit.
