Upcoming Events in the Community

• Main Street Music Festival: The Main Street Music Festival will take place on Saturday, July 27^th from 11am until 11pm. The festival will be located at Washington Square Park on 100 East Pershing. Celebrating the 19^th anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act, this free festival features live bands on the main stage and over 30 vendors with arts, crafts, and more. There will also be food trucks, a beer garden, and a kids zone for the little ones.
• Summer Dusk Concert: The Summer Dusk Concert takes place on Friday, July 19^th from 7pm until 10pm at The Concourse (200 Benton Boulevard). Enjoy live music and more at this fun community event!
• Water Lantern Festival: The Water Lantern Festival will take place Saturday, July 27^th at 5:30pm at the Frank A Theis Park. A family friendly event, this is a fun and inspiring summertime activity everyone can enjoy. Tickets go fast, so grab yours today.
• Big Picnic: The Big Picnic takes place on Sunday, July 21^st from 4pm until 8pm at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. There will be food trucks, art activities, lawn games, live music. There will also be a sculpture hunt, poetry readings, storytime, and more! An excellent way to spend a day with your family, and learn a little about art in the process.
