This weekend is full of wonderful events to ring in the holiday season. There are also plenty of opportunities for you and your family to gaze upon some of the gorgeous lights around town. Events This Weekend
- Every day of the month, you can enjoy a 90-minute classic trolley ride through Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. Ride through a whimsical neighborhood, while also seeing the Mayor’s Christmas Tree. You can bring blankets for snuggling and hot cocoa to enjoy throughout the ride.
- Kansas City Ballet is presenting The Nutcracker at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Is it a tradition in your family to go see The Nutcracker each holiday season? This presentation is beautiful with updated scenery, costumes, and decor.
- The hip residential area, Crossroads Arts District to the River Market, will open for a tour next weekend for the 2018 Downtown Dazzle Homes Tour. You can tour the homes at your leisure, enjoy food and drinks, and there will also be more surprises throughout the event!
- Bring the kids to visit Santa Claus at Santa’s Gingerbread Station at Crown Center. There are no admission fees and you can take a picture with Santa for free.
