This weekend is full of celebrations that include May the Fourth, where fans of Star Wars celebrate, and Cinco de Mayo. There are fun activities going on in the Kansas City that include these celebrations and there are plenty that don’t. This weekend is full of things for the whole family to enjoy doing. Fun Things to Do

1. Paradise Park is hosting a May the Fourth Be With You Event on Saturday, May 5th. The event is free for all ages. Dress up as your favorite Star Wars character to experience a day of fun with everyone at Paradise Park. All attractions are available for purchase at regular prices.
2. Gladstone Community Center is hosting a Mother/Son Superhero Party on Saturday, May 5th. This event is $25 per pair and is a chance for moms and sons to spend some quality time together. There will be Super Hero training along with other activities, crafts, and food. Everyone is encouraged to come already dressed in costume. The event is geared towards boys ages 3 to 9. Early reservations are recommended.
3. Cinco de Mayo 5-Qué (5K) is this Saturday, May 5th from 10 a.m. to noon. This family-friendly event runs along Southwest Boulevard and is a part of Kansas Citys Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, hosted by The Guadalupe Center! The Cinco de Mayo Fiesta will also feature great authentic Mexican food, live entertainment, local vendors, face painting, a petting zoo, inflatables, raffles, and more.
