If you prefer to paint the town red, then we have gathered a few events in the Kansas City area that could be great ways to ring in 2018 with your friends and/or family.

KC Nye Events

• New Year’s Swingin’ Eve at Union Station, is a huge celebration with a midnight balloon drop, celebratory dancing, and champagne toasts. The event is the Travel Channel’s “Featured National Pick” for New Year’s Eve celebrations. The celebration is for those over the age of 21 and tickets must be purchased online.
• Zoo Year’s Eve at the Kansas City Zoo, 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, is a great way to bring the family for a daytime celebration. The event lasts from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and is free with zoo admission. There will be an interactive DJ, noise makers, and a photo booth.
• Another great option for the whole family is Noon Year’s Eve at Science City at Union Station. The interactive science playground can be a safe and fun environment for kids to play on NYE.Noon Year’s Eve starts at noon and goes until 7:00 p.m. You can create your own party hats and edible glitter. The balloon drop at 6:00 p.m. will drop over 2,500 balloons!
• The Power & Light District’s resident piano party bar, Howl At The Moon will serve up live renditions of your favorite songs, if you want to ring in 2018 with some music.
