We’re going to cover four fun events happening this weekend in Kansas City, so you can plan some activities with your friends or family. Fun Community Events
- Blood, Sweat, and Tears: You can see Grammy-winners Blood, Sweat, and Tears live on June 29th at 8:30pm. Tickets start at $35 and you and your family can enjoy a night of music fusing blues, jazz, and rock into something truly original!
- Distillery Tour: Tom’s Town Distilling Company will be hosting distillery tours daily from now through August 3rd. They are located downtown at 1701 Main Street. The tour is 45 minutes and offers an in-depth view of their process, samples of award-winning liquor, and the tour only costs $10 per person. Also, you have a chance to learn about prohibition and it’s impact on life in Kansas City!
- Sunset Zip Tour: Enjoy a unique date night with a zip line tour every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from now through September 29th. The tour lasts from 6pm until 9pm and takes place at ZIP KC on 12829 Loring Drive. The Date Night Sunset Tour package costs $198 a couple, and features multiple zip lines, including the longest and fastest one in the area! Space is limited, so register beforehand.
- Arabia Steamboat Museum: From now through February, you can enjoy a tour of the Arabia Steamboat Museum, on 400 Grand Avenue. Tours take place every 30 minutes from 10am until 5pm. The museum is open every day, from 10am until 5pm on Monday throughout Saturdays, and noon until 5pm on Sunday.
