June is here! It’s officially time for activities in the sun and summertime fun! Things to Do in Kansas City

1. The Liberty Summer Festival is on June 8th and 9th. The festival is fun for the whole family with shopping with local vendors, a wide variety of food trucks for drinks and a bite to eat, live music, and garden workshops.
2. The Future Stages Festival is on June 10th. This free festival is open to the whole family. The event highlights Kansas City-area youth acts perform on indoor and outdoor stages. There will be artistic events through community partners throughout the day.
3. Summer Movie Nights at Oak Park Mall start this Friday with Moana. Enjoy free movies on the second Friday of June, July and August. There will be activities that start at 6pm before the movies start at 7pm in Center Court by Dillard’s South. You can bring lawn chairs or bring your blankets for this indoor, air-conditioned event open to the whole family. If you arrive early, you can reserve a good spot to watch the movie.
4. World’s Ocean Day at Kansas City Zoo is this weekend. This event will give kids a chance to learn how much water we use for daily activities and how we can reduce that amount. Zootastik Learning Fest activities will take place from 10am to 3pm in the lobby and are included with zoo admission.
