Once again, we’re talking about fun upcoming events in Kansas City, MO. April and May feature art exhibits, zip lining, and more. Upcoming Community Events

  1. Sunset Zip Tour: You can enjoy the Date Night Sunset Zip Tour from 6pm until 9pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from now through September 29th. The event takes place at Zip KC, 12829 Loring Drive. Enjoy stunning views of the rivers and bluffs in the area as you fly down a zip line at 55 miles per hour. A great way to spend time with your significant other! The Date Night Sunset Tour is $198 a couple. Space is limited to reserve your spot early!
  2. Brookside Art Annual: The 2019 Brookside Art Annual will take place daily from May 3rd though the 5th, 5pm until 9pm on Friday, 10am until 9pm on Saturday, and 11am until 5pm on Sunday. You can find the exhibits at the Brookside Shopping District, on 63rd Street and Wornall Road. Hosted by the Brookside Business Association, this non-profit event features works from a variety of local and national artists. A great event for the entire family to enjoy. In addition to art, there will be children’s activities on Saturday and Sunday, and music in the evenings. Local restaurants will also open food booths.
  3. Waiting for the UFOs: Enjoy the works of Polly Apfelbaum at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art’s Waiting for the UFOs (a space set between a landscape and a bunch of flowers) exhibit. You can view her textiles, ceramics, and paper works from now until April 28th at 4420 Warwick Boulevard. Enjoy a chance to see unique works of art.
