What’s Happening in Kansas City?

Community Events
- Through The Eyes of Picasso: The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art will be hosting an exhibit on Picasso from now until April 8th. The museum is located at 4525 Oak Street. The show will feature a close look at his fascination with Oceanic and African art, featuring paintings and sculptures.
- Mummies of the World: You can enjoy the Mummies of the World exhibition from now until January 1st at Union Station Kansas City, 30 West Pershing Road. You can find out about the process of history and mummification, see 3D animations and other multimedia exhibits, and see examples of mummies from South America, Egypt, and Europe.
- Vienna Boys Choir: You can see the Venna Boys Choir perform at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts at 1601 Broadway Blvd on Saturday, November 11th from 7pm until 9pm.
- Everest: The Lyric Opera of Kansas City will be performing Everest from November 11th until November 19th. The opera is located at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (1601 Broadway Blvd). The show tells he incredible true story of three climbers trapped on Mount Everest in a blizzard on 1996.
